About me
Hi,
I'm Emelie, born in Sweden 1986 and grew up in Gothenburg. As long as I remember I have been drawing. My math teachers used to go crazy about my notebooks that had more drawings than calculations.
After finishing school I have been working at different stables, mostly dressage, and in different countries. Except Sweden I have been to USA, Germany and now I'm in France. I also have a two years long university education at the "Swedish university of agriculturer science". But during all this time occupied by horses in different ways I have always been painting. Unfortunately I never had the time (so far) for an art education - but I learned by copying artists that I liked. My inspiration as a kid was Lena Furberg and later also Marc Gives to mention some. During the years I also tried to broader myself and not only paint horses so I started to paint other animals, people, shoes, equipments, my car act etc. The liste is long and will hopefully get even longer.. Lately I have been taking a little break with the horses to have more time to concentrate on the art. So how my artkarieer will turn out -only the future can tell - but lets hope that this is only the begining..
